About
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
The UVI Library is documenting the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the UVI community. We are interested in original stories about how Covid has affected your lives. Submissions' focus can range from the abrupt switch to online instruction and learning, working and studying from home to the struggle of maintaining relationships with friends and family while keeping a safe distance.
We want to hear from you! How has this pandemic inspired you to create? Share your creations with future generations!
We are looking for original stories, photographs, signs, artwork, short videos and other materials that will help future generations learn what life was like in the Virgin Islands during this unique period in history.
Materials will be reviewed by library staff and preserved as a permanent part of the University Archives; therefore, submissions may not be available to the public immediately. Submissions may also be featured on the UVI library website.
